Really chuffed this week, I placed 3rd in Scirra's Rikoshe Mobile Game Jam! We had a month to create something with the theme Light & Dark I mentioned my game in an earlier post Play my game here. This is the write up I recieved! :
"3rd Place: Light & Dark This visually striking game combines platforming with quick thinking - resulting in a final product that's fun to play and almost impossible to put down. Levels grow progressively more complex with new mechanics being added - and what starts off as a simple task to grab bird feathers fast becomes something more..."

Here's a silly mini game I made for fun, it's a mobile based touch game (playable on desktop too) Try beating the high scores!
Game is here Everyone involved with Hard Corner is busy working on the game. I thought I would post all the characters art I've done so far.
Hard Corner (Game page), benzaieTV (original Hard Corner podcast) It’s been some time since I posted anything. I thought I would share my latest game I made for Rikoshe Mobile Game Jam. I had the month of March to complete it (bit of a tall order!). I'm happy to say I finished it in time! It's not perfect but I works well :-) https://www.scirra.com/arcade/rikoshe-mobile-game-jam/light-dark-6524 "The theme of the jam is light and dark - interpret this however you want! It's a mobile game jam - so your game should work on mobile devices!" My idea was to start with the most basic graphics; squares and incorporate high contrast lights and lens flares. I wanted my game to be about influencing a dark world with light. The dark world has little visibility and the creatures that dwell there are lost in the shadows.
In order to progress in the game you have to free the creatures and light the bonfires to illuminate the world. You have no weapons just the bring light you hold. Excellent news! a children's book project I collaborated on with my friend Abbie has been published by Austin Macauley pub ltd! You can buy it on Amazon and in book stores.
In August I ran a water-colour basics course for the Genesis Trust in Bath. We covered a lot of cool techniques. Including painting trees and abstract wet on wet painting.
Uploaded my new Showreel to Youtube, check it out on the Animation page.
